Obscure Builder Gets Big Break With Kingwood Retail Project

Kingwood's Town Center offers a traditional hometown feeling

With 20 distinct neighborhoods, more than 40 restaurants, various retail centers, 19 swimming pools, in excess of 240 acres of parks, more than 57 miles of greenbelt hike-and-bike trails, numerous medical facilities and hospitals, a superior school district and more than 75 community organizations, one might think the residents of this Friedswood Development Co. master-planned community had it all.

Stop in at the Kingwood Home Finding Center for information and an overview of the Kingwood community. The Center is open Monday - Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 5:30 p.m.
