Chocolates & Fine Candy The latest news from On The Park is an expansion that added 350-square-feet of retail space and a cold room for making different kinds of chocolate. "We added the corner facing Main Street. That's where Santa is going to be on Saturday, Nov. 29th during the annual "Christmas in the Park" festivities. "What better place for Santa to be than 1 North Main?" says Rosenberg.
New packaging has been added for producing giftbaskets and canalso be shipped or delivered if in Kingwood. "A lot of different plush animals have also been added, an we are still doing Beanie Babies," added Rosenberg.
A new Beanie Baby "Princess" bear named for Princess Diana will be available sometime in December, but each retailer will only be able to obtain 12 per shop. The Ty Company will donate all proceeds from the "Princess" bears to Princess Diana charities. Keeping the charitable spirit alive, Rosenberg is currently developing a way to have kids purchase a chance to win one of the special Beanie Babies. All proceeds will be donated to Humble/Kingwood community charities that benefit children.
